age 54, passed March 6, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital.  Born April 26, 1959 in Lapine, Al to Moses and Annie Owens Powell.  She was employed at UD in the Culinary Arts Dept. Preceded in death by parent; brothers, Joe and Samuel Powell and sisters, Marilyn Kelly and Annie Brasher.  Survived by son, Antoine Dye of Dayton; daughters Shantenelli (Jason) Milton and Ta’Maria Powell both of Dayton; brothers, Willie Joe (Lissie), Moses (Charlotte), Amos (Hazel), and Thomas (Deborah) Powell all of Dayton and Robert (Cassie) Powell of Montgomery, AL; sisters, Idell Norman, Bessie Martin and Clara Brown all of Dayton; grandchild, Valencia Lovett; brother-in-law, Andrew Kelly; sister-in-law, Darlene Powell and special nephew, Davion Ellington all of Dayton.  Service of memory Wednesday March 12, 2014 11 a.m. at Harris Memorial CME 3950 Haney Rd Rev. Earl Hudson, Sr., officiating.  Public viewing after 9 a.m. at the church where the family will receive friends 10 a.m. until start of service.  Interment Woodland Cemetery.
